Apple tart

2 cups of flour
1 margarine (250 gramms)
4 egg yolks
2 tablespoons of sugar
1 package of vanilla sugar
pinch of salt
1 teaspoon of baking powder (flat)
1 tablespoon of sour cream

1 kilo of apples

Apple Muse:
750 milliliters of apple juice (the adult version – white wine)
150 grams of sugar
1 package of vanilla sugar
2 packages of vanilla pudding (powdered instant version)
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
a pinch of ground cardamom (optional)

1. Combine all of the ingredients for tart in a bowl, knead the dough. Optional – put aside a small portion to decorate top of the cake – freeze for best result.
2. Greese the baking pan and  transfer dough- remember to create edges to a height of about 4 cm (no need to pre-bake before next step).
3. Peel the apples, cut into slices and lay on the dough.
4. In a saucepan, heat the apple juice (or wine) with sugar, cinnamon and vanilla sugar , gradually adding 2 packages of pudding. Pour thickened mass over apples. For decoration use frozen portion of dough – grate on top.

Bake in an oven preheated to 175 degrees Celsius for about 45-50 minutes.
Serve chilled with a spoon of vanilla yogurt or a scoop of ice cream. Make sure not to eat all at once 🙂
